Jacob first stepped foot in a gym at the young age of 12. Ambitious to develop his muscles for football, he began power lifting at a young age. After a serious injury, he was no longer able to play contact sports. However, he was still able to lift weights. It was at this time he started his quest to become a bodybuilder. Through rigorous training and research, he was able to turn his injury around and eventually compete on a national stage.
