It takes strength, tenacity and sheer athletic ability to make it to the National Football League, and Pulse Fitness owner/founder Scott Genord is among the select group of elite athletes who’ve accomplished that goal. Scott was a high school national blue chip player in 1999, a scholar athlete at Indiana University and Cal State Fullerton, and an NFL player with the Detroit Lions and NFL Europe (2004-2007). Now, he’s using his wealth of knowledge and passion for fitness to inspire others to be the best they can be. You only need to look as far as the walls of the gym to see the motivational slogans like “Work hard, dream big” he had painted there to serve as daily reminders.
Scott studied exercise science at Indiana University; he studied kinesiology (the scientific study of human movement) at Cal State Fullerton. He has also served as a high school football coach, a motivational speaker and district training director at LA Fitness. Wherever he goes, you can be sure his two dogs (Maverick and Sweetie) will be somewhere nearby.
Scott can work with anyone from athletes to first-timers and even people with medical challenges. His creative, innovative workouts will keep you on your toes and make you work up a sweat. He’ll coach you, he’ll create a unique program that’s right for you, and he’ll be right there with you – but, he’ll also push you and hold you accountable. No doubt, you’ll love the results!
